Validated, automated, speech-based cognitive biomarkers collected via a simple phone call. Delivered at scale in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) clinical trials to reduce screen failure rates, streamline recruitment, and provide user-friendly, objective measurement. Used today in pre-screening programs and in longitudinal monitoring of cognition.

The Speech Biomarker for Cognition (SB-C) captures highly relevant domains of processing speed, learning & memory, and executive function through a standardized set of spoken tasks. An objective composite score is returned automatically (no clinician, no specialized hardware needed).
The assessment can be used with a voice agent over a standard telephone line, via app, or through a web browser. Participants can complete it from home, in-clinic, or remotely from any global site with high acceptance and usability. Pre-screening using blood-based biomarkers along with the SB-C reduces patient burden, improves screening efficiency, and lowers recruitment costs.
Built on a decade of
rigorous clinical validation
SB-C validation follows the Digital Medicine Society’s V3 Framework, covering verification, analytical validation and clinical validation. A full validation package is available for regulatory submissions.
Validated using normative data from large scale cohorts and deployed today in worldwide clinical trials and studies. Consistent performance across languages and clinical settings.
SB-C results are anchored to established gold-standard clinical measures and fluid biomarkers: ADAS-Cog 13, CDR-SB, MMSE, MoCA, PACC5, Aβ and p-tau181
