Speech biomarkers have the advantage of being fully functional in remote settings without the need of any specific hardware, technique or even invasive procedures making them highly scalable and very cost-effective. The probe of speech needed can be collected with very low burden for patients or study participants resulting in incomparable patient compliance — in pre-screening, as trial endpoint or in drug companion use cases.
